In the life of Job, we see a vitally important concept in God’s providence – the Lord’s hedge of protection around his people. Satan can go no further than the Lord suffers him to go. Satan could do nothing to Job unless the Lord removed his hedge of protection, according to his own will and purposes. We are so thankful for God’s hedge of protection that delivers us from all the evil of Satan and the kingdom of darkness.
